Break & Joy

An experiential-leisure business built around rage rooms, live in Granada and expanding by franchise to other cities. Running it day to day is what exposed the operational problem I then built Spacioos to solve.

Break & Joy
Problem
Experiential-leisure venues juggle bookings, safety, staff and unit economics across disconnected tools, and a franchise has no shared system to see what happens across locations.
Role
Founder and operator. One of the businesses I run today.
Stack
A physical venue and a franchise model, standard operating procedures, and the software it spawned (Spacioos).

The story

Break & Joy is one of the businesses I run today. I co-founded it and operate it day to day: an experiential-leisure business built around rage rooms, live in Granada and closing deals to grow by franchise into other cities.

Where Spacioos came from

Running Break & Joy is what made me live the problem first-hand: these spaces juggle bookings, customers and operations across disconnected tools, and a franchise has no shared system to see what happens across locations. That is where Spacioos came from, the SaaS I built to solve it at the root.

What it is

  • Rage rooms where people release stress by breaking objects in a safe setting
  • An experience designed for individuals, groups and companies (team building)
  • A replicable model, with operating procedures to open and run new venues
  • The base of a growing franchise network

Why it matters

Break & Joy is proof that I don't only build and sell software: I set up and run real physical businesses, with their margins, their operations and their customers, and it's from that experience that the digital products I later build come.

Let's talk

I work where product, technology and business meet, and I like talking to people building real things there. Whether it is to compare notes, a problem worth solving, a project, or a role, my inbox is open.
